Private sellers limited to 9 identical items in a fixed price offer?
I'm in an EU country which does not have its own eBay site. I just had a failed run with my legit details on eBay Germany with a newly registered personal account (apparently deemed high risk from the start because it started with a 3 item selling limit and got restricted after 3 days) which I upgraded to a business account and got the limit raised to 10 items after emailing them. After a month and after answering questions it got up to a 150 item selling limit which was later raised to 250 items. Even though I ramped up sales very slowly and had trouble-free transactions it got nuked with an indefinite suspension after 2 and a half months. For my next account(s) I will be taking a lot of precautions to fly under the radar. I'm using my real name and address but I'll vary them slightly. New email, new phone number, dedicated device, dedicated internet connection, new IBAN (although I've read that reusing IBAN is likely to be fine).
Now I'm weighing my options as to which eBay site I should register on and if it should be a personal account or a business account. I was thinking ebay.ie because they're English speaking and use euros and I think someone said they seem to have better luck with their phone support for reinstating suspended accounts. People seem to like ebay.nl, but there was this limit of 9 units per listing mentioned, at least for selling on ebay.de with the item location in Germany or The Netherlands: https://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-p...g-de-site.html
I have not found a lot of discussion about this 9 item limitation, so I'm wondering which eBay sites it applies to (ebay.de or others too)? Does it apply to all personal accounts or can you circumvent it without using a business account, like by registering on a different country's eBay site or setting a different item location? I'm very tempted to go with a personal account for the lower fees, but if the 9 identical items limit applies then I will want to use a business account at least for selling higher volume items which would not be practical to keep relisting and I think would benefit from better visibility when they get picked up by the algorithm and so that buyers can see the sold quantities.
