Default If I was banned prior to MP do I need to worry?

So prior to managed payments I was suspended, at the time I broke my neck and I think it was because I wasn't shipping items out because I was in the hospital for 3 weeks. This was in 2018, I obviously didn't care at the time because I had a long road to recovery. Fast forward to 2020, me and a friend started buying and selling together and we used his info to start a new eBay business account (used his contact info but used the EIN number for ebay). So first off, obviously my IP address isn't banned because I've been running the new account from home for the last 2 and half years. I changed internet providers and so in doing that it changed my IP address. So now I want to start another account with my info and my main question is should I worry about using my info to create a new account, I already created a new corp and got an EIN number but ebay still asks for my address and last 4 digits of my social to register. So being that I was suspended pre managed payments should I worry using my SSN and same home address that was suspended 4/5 years ago?

Provided that you did not owe eBay any money from 2018 then the likelihood is that you may be successful, I say maybe because nothing is 100%. If you owed them money then they may link you and ask for it to be repaid and suspend the new account until done.

Try making the account. Should be ok.

Also next time use paragraphs so people can read your stuff easier.

Yeah I had my oldest account which owed money, paid that and now using it. Feels like a holy grail because its an account pre 2010 but balance owed suspensions are the easiest to fix. Just pay it. I have never seen a scenario where they hold that against an account after it's paid.

So I have nothing to worry about. Sign up using all of my own info. It doesn’t matter that I was banned for seller level when I was in the hospital and never shipped anything out for weeks?

Not so,Ebay keeps a list of suspended sellers.
Some will never be allowed to come back.
MP does not have any past history of ebay seller,Ebay does, not just seller but also buyers ,some buyers have scammed big time.
Buying a 5 figures watch and return an empty box, shipping an empty envelope to a store in buyer zip code neighborhood.

Go to Ebay seller forum and ask.
I recall back years ago, some sellers insisted they were in hospital and Ebay asked for hospital admission and doctor report, but now I dont think bots really care, also bots do not read or view photos.

There are so many sellers now on Ebay, bots just go by a list of criteria ,you h ave to speak to a person.
Bu they have heard so many reasons,it gets old,the fact you did not ship makes Ebay look bad.

ebayers are often both buyer and seller, you should have known by now.
MP is run by ADyEN,it does not just serve Ebay,I suspect Ebay holds an account with AdYen and we are just subaccounts within Ebay.
Ebay has our past and current activities,it is up to Ebay to monitor its subaccounts.
here is ADYEN Company
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adyen
Do you think ADYEN would bother to monitor every Ebay account ?
Same with Paypal,Paypal has merchant accounts with several banks and VISA Europe,we are just subaccounts within Paypal.
Any chargeback hits Paypal ,then it passes on to us.

Ayden and MP has changed things, and on face value if eBay suspends you it is common sense that they don't want you back. But I also believe there is a belief within eBay at the top, if a seller really wants to come back we aren't going to suspend them right away unless they commit the same or different violation. Otherwise if these companies really wanted to suspend accounts with same details they could. With that said, they are also public companies and need growth. Look at Paypal stock price, look at eBay stock price. These things matter in the grand scheme of things.

I beg to differ, you can go to ADYEN and open an account with them to use for your non Ebay activity, they are not going to ask if you have been banned by Ebay,it will judge you based on what you submit and your future performance using Adyen.
As to Ebay management said poor kid,we will let you back?
There are too many sellers and not enough buyers, why re admit bad sellers ,but Ebay is ???I dont know anymore about Ebay ,I wonder if Ebay knows what it wants to be?may be it just wants to be the world's biggest garbage can?

There are so many broken English, bad grammar, spelling on this forum,
You are degrading yourself by showing up on this forum, may I suggest you leave ASAP,thank you

plug in your information to Adyen when requested.
------
You cant get your sales proceeds without having a MP account,if you cannot come up with a bank account acceptable to Ayden, you are wasting your time sellin on Ebay?

do not mislead people , I am not talking about buyers but about sellers

those who were suspended before MP as sellers can register a seller account again using the same details

Unsure, I have been blacklisted from 2009 or thereabouts, signed up with my SSN on MP with no problem, until I was suspended a day ago for me getting lax...

I mean, you still cannot even form a sentence correctly so I don't know why I responded to your original comments in the first place.

The best advice I can give you is to buy an account from one of the sellers here. Why? Because you have no guarantee to get high limits when creating an account. You can simply buy an account, go slow with it, then plug in your information to Adyen when requested.

Why does anyone want high limits? If you use high limits on a brand new account and list a bunch of items you'll get suspended. This is the most basic part of stealth. Having a high limit is just a nice number to have, my account has 50k/$500,000. I really want to list all my product but I know what happens if I do that. So even though I have a great limit, I'm only using a tiny fraction of it.

Having low limits on an account can actually be a good thing because it prevents you from doing the biggest red flag there is, selling too quickly. If you sell a few months using standard limits, they'll organically increase enough anyways.
