Wonder Why Etsy Removed Some Listings But Ignore Same Other Listings ?

Etsy removed some of my items at the time they ignored similar items but different colors ... example: i sell same item in blue color & red color i list the 2 colors separated one blue & one red ... etsy removed the red one but keep the blue one although its the same item !!!
anyone know how etsy works ?

Perhaps your competitors on Etsy complained to them so they would get the product removed and allow them the scope to sell more of a similar or same item.

Like degsey69 stated about the competitors, perhaps when they complained, the takedown was done for only 1 colour which showed up the easiest when searched
