Default Has anyone cracked the nut yet? Has anyone solved MP yet?

I've been absent from the forums for a while.
Has anyone cracked the nut?

Is it possible to get a brand new ebay ID under a name other than yourself (not a friend or relative)?
And then sell and have the money come directly to your own bank account?

'Ready made accounts'... is it possible to buy and use and sell on ebay and grow into a substantial selling account? BUT... then have funds come directly to you!?

Has anyone found UK banks that don't give full ID details to ebay's ID checking?
It's so difficult.

Not sure about UK, but I think there are ready made accounts for UK in the forum marketplace.

I recommend asking the seller about these in detail.

UK banks do not give account details held by MP, you can mismatch a stealth name with your bank account details. Same goes for the USA.

In the UK I use NATWEST with mismatched name to account details.

OMG! You're joking! There might be light at the end of the tunnel after all!

I'm being dumb here...
@paulfoltyn @degsey69 Can you give me examples of what mismatched docs are?

Thanks.

When you are entering the name of the bank account into eBay you can put the stealth account holder name in as the bank account holder name and the bank details, sorting code account number of a bank account in your name.

My name is James Arthur, let's say.
I open an ebay account in the name of John Smith.
I need to submit documents for the selling ebay account.
You are saying I just need to submit details of James Arthur, even though the account is in the name of John Smith??

This makes no sense.
I'm not complaining!
This makes it easier than the good old days when we had Paypal.
Are you 10000% sure?

What's the success rate?
Does it work ALL the time?

Is this a 'new' change?
EDIT I just did a Google search and the names have to match EXACTLY - according to posters on ebay's forums. The latest post was 1 year ago though... so if something on ebay has changed... this would have an impact I guess?

I'm just hoping you're correct. My days of worrying maybe over!
I'll try and make new accounts if so.

I updated my reply after you replied.
I asked: is this a new thing?
Previously, you *definitely* had to have an exact match - according to many many posts on ebay's own forum.

Guys, I made a new account
The notice said in bold writing: names MUST match

@rsot @degsey69 How did you guys pass the test?

Is it that they put up this notice but choose not to enforce it?

there is a confusion here i believe ...

no you need to submit docs to John Smith the name you used to open ebay acc ... what is possible is if your bank accept mismatch you can add bankaccount in your name ... i believe it is like this ...

Rule of thumb when dealing with these platforms:

Never ever believe everything they say. They'll say anything and everything to the book to cover their behinds, not yours.

So in reality, you can bend the rules to your advantage.

You'll never get ahead let alone go backwards if you just do everything by the book
