Anyone got an indictors on how long it takes Etsy to ban stealth accts ?

Just wondering if anyone knows how quickly they tend to pick up stealth accounts ?

As far as I can see there is absolutely no way around ID verification I wouldn't fancy having several thousand in payment reserves and Etsy suddenly decides to shut your account down because of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name

Ive tried using my initial instead of full name and changed my address on my ID also using an anti detect browser

The only way I can see them shutting these account down is if someone looks at them manually

I aint going anywhere near any product with any kind of I.P right or Trademark this time

Its going to be a nail biting couple of months

I would say 1 day to 20 years depending on the performance, early suspended accounts is usually poor stealth account creation, later ones just poor performance of the account

Yea I think we established the answer is how long is a piece of string

You can't get around ID verification name and address has to match so the only option is to change the address on the ID and hope they don't pick up the name

As far as using it goes , like I said I will be avoiding any brand names or trademarks as once them copyright infringement notices start going in the account is going to get attention and quickly

They are originally made for home made items, so do that and made sure you have proof that you are actually the maker.

I have had 7 or 8 copyright infringements so far and I haven't been closed. I have been slowly getting them since around 50ish sales and I'm currently on 170 sales. I have been a star seller for a while though, and they have threatened me with removing it.

If your account gets banned with a payment reserve you'll get your payout to bank account on file after 6 months.

Although any cases opened up against you while banned are auto-won in the customers favour and the total sale amount will be deducted from whatever is in escrow.

I know this because I got banned selling TikTok likes. Made like £3k in my first month, got banned, then two opportunist scammers refunded like £30-50 worth of orders. But I got the rest of the money.

For the record for anyone else reading this. Selling SMM Services on Etsy is hella strict and not worth it. My store lasted nearly 2 months but that's because I skirted by without any reports or cases with excellent customer support and giving refunds anytime something went slightly wrong. Just avoid this and focus on building something proper.

I would say you are treading on very very thin ice

Be warned they will just shut you down one day and every other account you have linked to it , personally I would get that store in holiday mode yesterday
