Re: How to create stealth account in other country.
hey, I recently saw your post that etsy asked you for your ID number for DAC7, why can't you bypass it? I understand that you don't want etsy to send the DAC7 report to your EU country, but I think it will be more difficult to open an account in the UK, etc.

I have no problems on the tax side. I am paying taxes, reporting my income to authorities. But I have multiple accounts, and they are all on my name. Entering tax id (ID card number) would likely link those accounts. It might not, because Etsy has chaos inside the company itself, but I want to be as safe as possible. My guess is that registering account in other country, that soesnt share much data with Etsy like Ukraine, would let me avoid the required ID number.
For exanole my attempt was:
Get Dedicated IP in UK
Open new gmail account
Then new Etsy
Entering same details as normal stealth, except entering residential area as UK and UK address, so Etsy think that I pay taxes in UK. But I continue to receive money in EU, and paying taxes there as usual.

did they ask you for your tax ID for your country or did they know it was your ID card number? There are different types of tax IDs in different EU countries

No, they ask my tax ID. They don’t know, because I never shared that info, as it wasn’t required.
There are different types of codes everywhere, I know, but usually it is single code that goverment gives you on your birth, and you have it until you are dead so..
Re: How to create stealth account in other country.
I wonder what happens if you enter the correct number but different from the one on the identifier you sent when registering the store?
