Activity: 0% Longevity: 42% | | Account restriction and cancellation
After the restriction (it seems permanent) of my account I can no longer contact support.
Only email appears in the support options (as long as the account was active, chat and telephone calls were also present).
Now there is only the email that refers any type of discussion to the topic "Account restrictions and suspensions"
However, I would like to close my account and proceed with the removal of personal data in accordance with current European data protection and privacy laws.
When I make the account closure request I receive this automatic email:
"There is a restriction on your account. Contact us to resolve the issue.
Once done, send us a new account closure request and we will help you complete the process."
while if I try to contact them I receive this email, always automatic:
"We wanted to let you know that your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk. We understand that this must be frustrating, but this decision was not made lightly and it’s important that we keep our marketplace safe for everyone. Learn more about how and why accounts can be suspended.
You will no longer be able to use your account to buy or sell items and any new accounts you set up may also be suspended."
Both automatic emails. It seems like I'm in a loop, to delete the account because there is a restriction I have to contact them, but if I contact them they always reply with the same automatic email because there is a restriction.
Of course, there is no email or any way to talk to a human agent online.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on how I can get out of this situation?

no one can check it anyway , I am sure they would not hold any more details in the EU but they will certainly keep them for years to come so that they could find you in case you open a new account
data removal would certainly not work to prevent linkage to old accounts

It's probably as you say. But it would be incorrect and if there were audit controls on this, I think they would risk some sanctions. Furthermore, the curious thing is that it is impossible to contact them after the suspension.

Furthermore, the curious thing is that it is impossible to contact them after the suspension. | I doubt they care about any of this , they can just move data to the US , no EU audit would ever find out and I am pretty sure that most important parts of their system are already out of reach for EU beaurocrats , they don't even do customer support from the EU but all those reps are located in Asia and to smaller extent in the US

They won't remove your info from their database.
Move one and start making stealth accounts so you can start selling asap

When it comes to big corps, they'd rather just do it and apologize later after making millions. It doesn't put a dent on them

However, it is absurd that after suspension you are unable to speak to an agent

the agents have a set of messages for everyone asking about their suspension
mostly they tell about how the suspension is indefinite and no appeal can be made , this decision was not easy to make , you represent risk to community , they can not disclose reasons etc

if you really want to speak to someone, hire a lawyer.
