Default How strict is PayPal in account limitations recently

Hey guys


Very long time i didn't have a paypal limitations. The notification email i received looks nicer than before " Help us with quick accoint review!" Last time i got limitation the email itself was scary like "your paypal account has been limited" or "you can no longer do business with paypal"

My account has been active since 2022 april. Last year they asked to submit docs to lift my sending limits. they accepted everything and my account is fully verified.

I use my account for buying and selling. I have the lowest chargeback rate.


The problem is that I sell service/digital goods related to education. average price is $30-$35. They are now asking for impossible to obtain docs like proof of purchase and proof of fulfilfment. I can provide screenshots where it shows I emailed the service to the buyer, but i am not sure, if that is convincing to them.



Last thing, is it still possible like before to call PayPal and talk to an agent in the limitation department, explain the issue, and have him/her lift the limitation over the phone?

In response, to the only question you have asked, the answer is "yes". It is still possible to speak to Paypal over the phone.

UPDATE! I was lucky enough to have my account restored. I only uploaded an ID. I didn't provide any invoices or tracking info for the 10 transactions they questioned.

Lesson: Sometimes your past histoy, how you talk to PayPal, and some luck, will help you have your account restore in no time.

They also have information about you which they would not disclose.
