Default Withdrawing funds - denied

Hello there everyone,

I tried to withdraw $3000 from my paypal account to my visa card, but the transaction got denied by paypal:

Your transfer could not be completed

We're sorry but we were unable to approve your request to transfer $3,000.38 USD to your card. You will see the funds and any fees reflected back in your PayPal balance.

If your card has not been updated in a while, please update your card information and try again. Or, you may also select a different account to transfer your funds to.

I let the funds stay there for over a week before trying to pull them out.

Does it mean the account is 'too weak' for such transactions or do I just give it some time before trying to pull it out again?

Do not want to leave anything on that account haha, will leave it for at least 72 hours and will give another try of the entire amount I think

Sounds kind of sketchy...why not try a smaller amount? If you try the entire amount and then get suspended...that's worse than "leaving it"...

The money has only been in there a week. If they want to limit your account then they will. I would take in increments of $1k or 750

you might be right. I am just paranoid that I will get limited after I get a successful withdrawal of let's say $1k

Totally understandable but going the whole "drain PP" is more dangerous than trying smaller amounts...

Smaller amounts safer. Did you try again?

I wouldn't call up pp without trying to withdraw a small'ish amount - OP, have you had successful withdrawals before?

Soo glad I ditched gaypal - I do not like to recall all the funds they froze over the years. Generally though I never had an issue if I started withdrawing small and slow, then worked up to higher values...
