- YouTube
it does happen that ebay reinstate accounts if the account owner has sufficient resources to attract public attention

but in general the guy is just one of those hamsters who never thought of diversification and running a number of smaller independent accounts although it would have been easy to do , especially before 2019

and another misconception he has like probably many others is that he has significance although it is very well possible that he was suspended by AI bots and any manual review would just confirm the bots' decisions so that he could just split his business and open up again , ebay would not mind , they do not care

I've seen a few of this guy's videos. He started by ranting about the General Product Safety Regulation, and now his account has been closed for too many INRs, I think.

His stores seemed to sell random junk - must have been a nightmare to list and even worse to pick and pack all those different sizes and items.

All his rants about eBay might boost his YouTube views, but it's not smart to so publicly bite the hand that feeds you. The flea market vibe is hardly what eBay's going for these days, and with his poor delivery times and customer service on top of that, his account is toast.

I've watched a few before now and I half expected it would end in tears.

I haven't seen anything about too many INR's?

But to be fair to him, he was only raising many of the issues eBay has and their treatment of sellers over recent months, especially those from NI with inaccurate 'blanket' rules.

However, in saying that, he failed to realise who he is in bed with and who is on top, if you're going to allow them to handcuff you to the ways they do things you have to play along and keep an erection despite being abused and trodden on in heels.

Still, the tyranny tech companies now operate under, everyone from Ubereats to eBay is a frightening example of how the wealthy are creating complete control over everyone. Theres a much bigger issue here.

I think in one of his videos about it he said one account got suspended for some INRs that were still in transit, and he messed up by refunding them immediately rather than waiting for the tracking to show delivered. I could be wrong though.

I agree he had a point about GPSR - I just stopped selling to NI, but it's not like they were going to change the rules just to accommodate eBay sellers.

After that I guess he just got hooked on the likes and forgot he was supposed to be making money.

12 parcels had late deliveries out of 1600 I think he said...seems excessive even for eBay. H

I think eBay interpreted the GPSR inaccurately, and heavily penalised NI sellers, which to be honest, seemed almost prejudicial to those operating from NI.

My personal feeling is that they chopped him because he was public about how they operate, which leads us back to tech company tyrannical dominance.

Considering his turnover, shows no one is safe.

While social media is a good tool to complain and hope for resolution (perhaps), this guy may be taking it too far - maybe he doesn't know of stealth techniques ah well...

He's the laughing stock at ebay. How many sellers have done what he's doing when suspended over the last decade or so ? loads. I wrote a comment on some of his videos basically telling him give it a rest, don't waste your funds trying to create a "rival" to ebays website.

Get back to selling creating a new LTD under your wifes name.

But then he's bragging about having multiple sources of income, property portfolios, how he's a millionaire anyway. So in other words, he's doing fine financially and has money. This is just time pass for him at this stage. His employees have the inconvenience of finding another job that's all.

I think the most hilarious part was when he announced that he was going to create another platform like ebay, only it's going to treat sellers with respect and fairness they deserve. This guy is definitely the laughing stock at eBay. An older gentleman acting like a toddler. I think some people never mature beyond teenage years.

Knowing what I do about eBay, I would never risk putting that much expectation in a marketplace that can suspend at any given moment. Especially if you’re not in line with claims and 800k a year is a lot for one account.

I think the smartest approach is sell across many different marketplaces and then open your own website. That diversity makes eBay important but not everything. And that I think allows for better risk management and decisions.

Even if you took this approach and added more eBay accounts it’s a win win scenario. Risking too much on one account personally I think is not worth it. And if you’re aware of this, it affects your sleep. So I’d just rather not go down that lane as I did years ago.

Because if you lose that account, and all your eggs are in one basket your f*cked.

The fact is, he should have just kept quiet and carried on selling. He had it good. Many of us would wish to be in his position before he was banned. He's made loads of money off ebay but like with everything when times are good you just keep wanting more and with age you definitely want more than just money in life, you want respect and people to recognise you as an expert in your field. He ran his mouth to the public and lost his accounts.

running youtube account about his ebay sales likely means he knows nothing about diversification otherwise he would just have remained silent in order not to attract attention to his business

I think everyone here can see he is a TOOL. Guy has zero ability to see eBay for what it really is. The fact that he decided to refund his buyers in order close cases so he could be compliant with MC011 shows he lacks of knowledge. Those of us in this forum that have been creating stealth accounts for almost 2 decades have much deeper understanding.

He is definitely clueless over the inner workings of eBay, that's for sure, you can see on his screen on some of his videos that he has open dispute cases that are in the red, so the customer can cash in on them anytime as he didnt upload tracking to them. The irony is , he runs 'courses' to teach people how to sell on eBay

Hahahaha ! Imagine being so dumb /lack of self awareness and not even realizing it. I am 100% sure he convinced that he can teach others how to sell on eBay and now imagine all of the dummies are who are buying his courses. Match made in heaven!
