Seller Verifcation prompted VPN Question
I set up an account for someone else using a laptop with a dedicated VPN IP through PIA. We successfully created the user account, added the LLC, and listed two products. Then we were prompted for a seller verification call.
The call went fine overall, but the interviewer specifically asked why we were using a VPN on the PC. The seller explained it was for security purposes. They also said they did not like about a secondary user account being added and questioned on why we needed a user account. The secondary user account me setup the main Super admin because the buyer has no idea on how setup the account.
Is this a new red flag for Amazon now? We’ve been setting up accounts for years using this same setup, which makes me wonder if we should switch to only using a VPS, or avoid VPNs altogether.
For those with more experience: what are the pros and cons of using a VPN vs a VPS vs a Dedicated Proxy for setting up Amazon, eBay, or Walmart accounts? This is the third account I’ve had banned in the last two months, and it’s been nothing but aggravating.Additionally we did add a virtual card on there which we believe that tripped the seller verification.
