Okay, haven't been here in a while. Just need a quick refresh. When I create an account, a new ip, new sim, I know all that part. I think the problem lies on listing an item and providing ssn. First step after selling, they will ask for last four of SSN matching a name is that correct? And then after that you can upgrade to business account and provide ein is that correct? Plus you do not need a full ssn. But eventually I could also provide that ssn. Is this the path forward now? Haven't done this in a couple years.

I dont think there is a way for them to verify SSN. And even if they cant verify SSN I am sure they will ask for additional information such as bank statement.

Some have bene asked to show the front and back of their SSN card.
Plus a government photo ID.
So now they can match the face with the SSN

When you have sold some item,you would need to link a bank account or card to receive payment.
