27 listings removed since Saturday morning across a large number of accounts, really hope this isn't the new norm as I've never seen anything like it. Some listings were up for nearly a year with no issues and this is across a wide range of categories. Even some old account building household items got taken down by this draconian bulls***.
Hope it's not just me?

Hope it's not just me? | That doesn't sound normal at all.
same items on all accounts or each account has a different item?
ANd I'm sure you know about the branded stuff and etc etc. So I'm not gonna ask about that.

The take downs are a mixture of "counterfeit" and "electronically delivered items".
Usual email from them about it.
Neither are true, I even had an old music CD in original packaging removed as "counterfeit"
There is some overlap but mostly different items on a different accounts. I've been selling these items for a while now with some occasional issues but nothing ever to this scale.

Do all your accounts sell the same items? ANything else that's very similar?
I'm trying to see if they also linked you some how

I'm sure it's AI, I don't really have any competitors as my stuff is very niche. But if it's AI gone wild there should be other people suddenly hit like me.
I don't think it's a link like that as the timing of removals is very evenly distributed over the 60 or so hours. Some items were taken down in batches on single accounts (even though they were entirely different) which I know is typical for their AI removal system.
I've not had any removals for ~24 hours now so maybe things have died down for now.
I will be waiting ~10 days before trying to relist any of them.

Same here.
Probably 200+ listings taken down accross my accounts. All had no business getting taken down, all listings were super legit, generic, no counterfeit(well... some maybe), no branded items.
eBay are on a rampage

I advise to wait even longer than that. Chances are high that they are monitored and will get suspended.
I had this happen a couple of weeks ago on multiple accounts for items that never been touched before.
I relisted them and they would immediately get pulled. I lost nearly 6 accounts by relisting them item days or even weeks later for a prohibited item/account policy violation.
If you have other accounts that hasn't been hit yet, focus on those and focus on creating more.
These past months have been **** for me on removals and not being able to get a new account up and running.

Oh, so other people who are selling the same items didn't get hit?
So for me when something like this happens, I usually wait 2 full weeks.
Just to make sure that the "trail" mark is no longer in the bot.
Usually it's 1 week, but I just double down to be safer.
It hasn't failed me yet.

Yea, the "trail" mark is set on the account and the item name once they remove them.
hence why I said 2 weeks.

eBay are on a rampage | Seasonally it doesn't make sense. They usually lose their mind around summer and holiday season.
Not low january or february.

hence why I said 2 weeks. | In my experience the trail or flag as I like to call it either isn't there at all, or it is and lasts up to a year or so. Things used to be different 18 months ago though and everything was flagged aggressively.

Probably just a takedown bot there are companies springing up left right and centre who are using A.I to trawl 3rd party marketplaces and submit takedowns for any related brand names
They then bulk bill the brand for said takedowns legitimate to not
Corsearch is the biggest one but many are appearing

These past months have been **** for me on removals and not being able to get a new account up and running. | Thanks for the contribution - that's rough to read but yes, this does highlight the importance of relisting within those time periods you said.

How about this..... do you have an extra account you haven't been selling on?
Test it on that and list 1 item the first 2 days, then another one.
I'd say 3 the first week and see if they tag you ?

I had a listing that has been up for 3 years on my regular account, it was a generic brand but I used a title that says similar to this Chinese brand name. That usually never has any problems because it is a Chinese brand name rather than a western brand name. Surprised they took it down
