Default How to deal with chinese sellers?

I noticed I lost about 70% of my sales organically. And I've also noticed that I used to be right before promoted listings at the top. Now I'm on like , bottom of page two. Chinese are making between 5 to 15 accounts per day. And spamming 500 to 800 listing with less then 1 and 2 week old accounts. All foo foo, photos ripped from other sellers and edited out the TM even. They copy the #1 product on amazing for certain niches, then sell something for $10 that's $45 on Amazon. Buyers claiming ⊗⊗⊗⊗ postages, fraudulent, and end up paying for it. Since the Chinese are selling below $10 and using stolen cc as they get canceled out in transit, leaving customers paying if they want it delivered. It's on there negative feedback, on multiple accounts at least 5 accoubts Ive seen so far. Feedback with 70-80% score tons of photos of comparison of the legitmate item next to the one they got from ebay. They got 300+ accounts. They spam 5 to 15 accounts per day pushing anyone down the list. They mainly use, Chinese, Hong Kong, all registered same day or day after like clock work.

I use to sell a certain avg per day, but this went down by 70% in the last few weeks. I even sell at a loss just to see and imagine nothing for 5 days on it. Sold 47 orders in Dec, 56 Jan, 43 Feb, March 1 only. Seems legitimate and not rigged at all or manipulated. 🙄

Today sold $550 1 order to accounts repeat customer. 5:30 p.m. no sale for 5 hours then and repeat buyer buys, and that's all for the day, like they limit you with all your other accounts. Got more then 6 accounts I been selling on for 10 years. And it's not normal to have it going like this. Not to imagine Chinese accounts like they were made with a bot. But you have to verify three, and get higher limits. Ebay is zero help, last year was able to report about 40-50 accounts ebay suspended from them. This year it's like they don't even care.

Customers open up a return in their force to pay for the return. Because the seller has a set to return address in China. But yet claim it was coming from america. Multiple negatives stated this.

Not many options left for me it seems.

Nothing you can do, they have an endless supply of sellers and, with ebays and Amazons implied approval, will continue with this strategy.

It's been going on for many years and nothing will change.

Find something else to sell.
The Chinese has warehouses in California,so it is possible they ship from USA.

Sadly this is the sad truth. Speaking to trust and safety supervisor today from america and the guy was just like , "oh , wow", and then the phone disconnected , it's like he didn't even care.

The only way is if eBay bans their banking to be attached. Because their spamming so many. But I don't see ending as you said.

I don't understand what you mean over here? I plan on building a website for dropshippers.

They buy from me and I ship it for them. I do have a few around the world and in south america. They buy steadily, looking to take them off ebay and save these fees.

The chinese has their way for many years and we have ours.
Easy? Definitely not and it's a tough pill to swallow.

My tactic has always been using many stealth accounts and I rotate them.
I also sell higher quality items so the chinese can't really compete.

I think figuring out the demographic of customers would be 1 of the many ways to dealing with them.

I can undercut them in bulk, but that's also going slow with best price, for what you are paying.

Making accounts require bank accounts, not sure what banks is doable, and ways of doing stealth in 2026. Was much easier with PayPal. Posted 30 items, lowest and best price deal 18 hours ago. 4 views only. This is depressing to go from 6 figures down like that.

Everything is pretty much dead across the board - just have to keep prices low and hope for the best. If possible find an item that cannot be easily counterfeited by these scam sellers...

They copy everything. I keep all my items $10-15 with the cheapest price. But competing versus a big brand from amazon that's $45-60 and they sell for $10 or lower blows as customers end up spending there money with them instead of you.

They may be focused on increasing sales volume, but they're not necessarily making consistent profits.

True, but they know the creation method and are probably sloppy. I'm starting to believe anti detect browsers / multi login programs are the issue for CREATION.

The situation you're facing is likely part of a real problem, and your advantage lies in trust, not price.
