Is it safe to ship to a different address than your PayPal address?

Can PayPal limit your account for sending an order to a different address than your account address?

I have a stealth PP account from the UK. I plan to buy something from an EU country, where I'm currently staying, will there be any risks?

I'll use the same UK phone number and pick it up at a locker. But even if you choose a locker delivery, you'll still need to type in an address, and when I made a test with my personal PP account, the address in the EU country showed up in the PP payment box, so they'll see the address.

Has anyone done this before?

So you need to add this address as one of your ship to address.

I forgot to mention. It's not a private person, but I'm buying from an online store.

I don't understand? This isn't about seller protection, but about risk of limitation.

Is my stealth paypal account at risk of getting limited buy adding an address from another country? I'll use the same name and phone number.

I am not aware you can add another address,

You can add additional shipping addresses with a business account.

You should have no problem as long as you don't reuse an address from previous accounts.

she does not want additional shipping address,she wants to change her registered address with PAYPAL from UK to an EU country locker number !
As for shipping address,I am not sure if she can add one which is not in UK?

I have added different addresses for receiving things on PP but never "outside the country" addresses...

She is buying from an online store,if the store does not mind,she could ask them to ignore her Paypal shipping addr and ship anywhere!

It actually worked. But on the payment detail the shipping address is displayed, which is not the same address or even the same country that the PP business account is based in. I hope PP doesn't see this as a red flag, or am I just being paranoid?

I tried to pay for gold on ebay last year, but without the locker option, and the paypal denied the payment. I assumed it was because of the address mismatch.

WHO ARE you buying the gold from?
It could be the seller ,not the address.
When your seller,you said it is an online store,received an email that they have received payment from you,it should say something like ship to this address,if the store decides to ship to a different address,it loses Paypal seller protection.

It is not Paypal,it is the seller who should be paying attention where he is shipping to.
Paypal is just the conduit.

If you send many items to a different address than what's on your account then you can expect a call from Gaypal or some issues purchasing but just one here and there should be fine. They take in other factors into consideration, like whether it's a new account, how long ago you received the funds in the account etc

I see, thanks for the info. This business account is a bit more than a year old. I've processed more than 10k usd without a single chargeback.

I'm just trying to figure out ways to spend my money. I can only find crypto traders who're willing to do F&F and from what I've learned you shouldn't abuse it, so I'm constantly looking for ways to maximise expenses.

Solid plan - when I wrote about "only time will tell", it meant that over time, you will see if PP considers the activity a red flag - or not.
