Need help with eBay Canada account verification.

Hi,

I linked my CIBC account using direct sign-in when registering, but now after 4 months eBay asks for a bank statement with address verification.

Problem is CIBC digital statements don’t show the address on the actual statement. I uploaded it twice and got rejected. Even the bank agent said mailed statements usually have the address separately/on the back.

A bank agent suggested uploading a void cheque together with the statement. Has anyone tried this or found another solution? deadline is 10 June and eBay support hasn’t been helpful.

Sadly I had to have "corrected" docs for both of my genuine accounts - the address must match egay's records, and I didn't want to risk it. I take my time but the docs come out good.

Hmm I use CIBC - my digital statement shows the address and a void check can also the address. You can DM me if you like for CIBC assistance.
