Default Can those IP protection services scan for listings not active?

I know you can report a listing as long as it's still active on Amazon but how do those IP policy violation companies work like i20? Do they scan amazon.com live pages or are they scanning the same system that sellers use to search for listings in catalog? What I mean is the seller catalog might find many listings but they are essentially inactive as they have no sellers and wouldn't show searchable on Amazon.com

Seller catalog shows inactive (or virtually inactive) listings so I would wage that those violation companies can see them too. Is there something or some category you are particularly concerned about?

Yes but what Im wondering if those companies look at the seller catalogs or their bots just go to amazon.com search bar and just scan that way? Might be too much compute power I wonder to scan the seller catalog? Probably less intense just to go to amazon.com search bar and type iPad for example

Well...if the companies are using bots, then there is no real typing...just pop in the keyword and search that way...cheapest and efficient - if they have access to a catalog then just scan the catalog and look for active listings. Inactive listings would yield no active seller to target, no?
