Your Etsy account has been suspended for policy violation

One of my shops got suspended just minutes after opening. I didn't even have a chance to add any listings or finish setting up the shop.
Has anyone else experienced this?

They probably linked you to one of your other accounts. Since you hadn't even listed anything yet.

It's probably helpful if you listed your steps for account setup.

Maybe they didn't like your registration details. I don't see what else it could be, since you hadn't listed anything yet.

in such cases it is usually anti fraud , look for problems in ip , computer , browser , registration details etc.

Few other accounts using same pattern successfully up and running

From Etsy site-
Not create duplicate shops or take any other action (such as manipulating clicks, carts or sales) for the purpose of shilling, manipulating search or circumventing Etsy's policies.
Dupicate shop could be a reason.

All my current shops were set up in the past couple of weeks.
And the answer to all of the above is no.

A few of my other shops were set up using the same methods and they're still up and running with this being the only one that's been suspended. If one of the things mentioned above was the issue wouldn't all of my shops have been suspended? Or am I missing something?

Missing quite a bit of details - what phone service used? What address info? IP provider etc

They don't always instantly link accounts sometimes can be months later

Usually if one of the surviving accounts gets flagged for something they'll link it then then shut it down

Etsy are very very hard work when it comes to suspending accounts there is almost zero ways to get around it

Maybe gnettuno, you can create another account "in the same way" and see what happens to be able to target the cause.

Email should contain the reason.
It's labeled as "policy violation" but usually they are telling a little more detailed reason as well.

In this case I would guess it was "Based on potentially fraudulent activity"

That’s what’s getting me confused as I’ve opened a few more shops and they’re all fine and sound
