I abuse Ebay and Paypal, but they keep coming back for more. The Abuse is a general account kill. Could be cause by ip appress linking to suspended account.

Why would they tell you what you did? That will only tell you what not to do next time. How dumb do you think they are?

Ok... has something changed?

I purchased the stealth guide in September and, thanks to the book and the forum, I was able to get 3 stealth accounts up and running. I created another about 6 weeks ago, and got the MC115 email as soon as I listed my first item (last week). I created another new account 3 days ago, and have been searching and clicking around on eBay for the last few days... no purchases, no listed items for sale. Today I got the MC115 email on this one too.

The email (both times) has no details about it - just that "eBay took this action after determining that your account was acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies." I emailed them requesting more info on the first dead account a week ago... still no response.

I did nothing different than I have in the past for my stealth accounts. New everything, kept a log of the IPs (no repeats), even have a new MAC address. The only thing thats the same is the computer (with a new user profile).

I am totally lost, and frustrated.

PS: I should mention that the account has not just been suspended, until they receive requested documents. They did not request ANYTHING, and I am 'no longer a registered user'. :(

In my case...

Account 1:
Was about 6 weeks old. I had done a lot of searching, but did not buy anything. I listed one item, and the suspension came the same day as the listing.

Account 2:
Was 3 days old, and was planning to age it for a moth or two. Did lots of searching and watching items, but bought nothing (was waiting for end of auctions). Listed NOTHING for sale.

I dont get it.

Ebay is doing something new against new accounts.
Same thing has happened to me for awhile now.
Just got one an hour ago....on a 3 day buyers account....

Ever since November,
Ebay has been giving out these suspensions to people....

Hmmm....I think you need to verify with a credit card when you first register.

eBay is handing out suspensions like candy since Nov.

Didn't anyone tell them Halloween is over?

This has affected me on a couple of VPS accounts I use.

It has NOT affected me on dial-up.

I do not know if the VPS was the reason, but it could be a part of the puzzle.

Personal update:

After dealing with eBay regarding the accounts referenced above, I've learned that the MC115 is not that big of a deal... at least it hasnt been for me. Call them, talk with them, give them what they ask for, and the accounts will be restored. There is hope after all!
