Im trying to search the forum how to close a checking account online.

I cant find it here or maybe its in another forum, Please help me if you know how to close checking account online on BAC. THANKS

as far as i know you cannot close online. you must go to the branch.

Yes, you can close a BOA account online. You can do it through chat, which is under the contact us link.

thanks guys, Im thinking of opening 6 checking accounts and closing them as soon as they are verified on paypal. Would BAC would let me close 6 checking accounts at 1 time.

I did that with wells fargo but the next time I opened another checking they do a hard check on my credit. I dont know why.

I opened around 6 checking accounts within 5 days at BB&T and they froze my money and flagged me. Now I am ban from ever opening an account there again.

I don't understand why everyone is opening so many checking accounts. I open up savings accounts for PP. The are esier to open and close. I have one checking account with BOA. I make withdrawals from my pp accounts to individual savings then I transfer money from each savings to the checking as it comes in.

Right now I have 9 savings and 1 checking with BOA. I think I've closed 2 savings with them in the past. I did it over the phone.

I will probably start this at another bank soon as I know I shouldn't have all my eggs in one basket. But I know BOA works and I haven't had any problems yet.
