Open new accounts just For buying ?

Hi there my original account was banned awhile ago from ebay &paypal but is it possible to open up a buying account in my real name and address to just buy things or will it be shut it down. Thanks in advance

You can set up a new ebay and PP accounts using your real details only with different IP, Windows user account, new telephone and credit card and bank. You cannot link any old accounts to your new accounts even if it's just for buying.

No PP will not shut it down. If it will get shut down it would be because of EB knowing that you should not be on EB. All I can say is to just try it. What do you have to loose?

I created a new account the other day with my real info and ebay linked it to a previous suspended account in a couple days. Meanwhile I have good account from 07 with all the same info, just different email address, 200+ feedback and they don't knock that one down and I get vero'd all the time on it. Got to let it cool down now though... Wouldn't want to lose my baby.

I have used banned details for a buyers account and i never got banned! Seems if your just a buyer paypal and ebay dosent care that ur a previous suspended user but once u turn into a sellers account then thats where u will have problems.

That wasn't the case for me. It wouldn't even let me buy and the only re-used info was my phone number.

I have a buyers account in my real name with no problems. I have had 3 Ebay accounts in my real name suspended from Ebay in the past but I was selling on those. This account is just a buyers account

Is any of the other info the same on those accounts, or just your name? I know they can't link you by name alone anyway.

Yeah unless u cause alot of problems as a buyer i dout there going to banned u. I never use my real phone # on ebay and as a buyers account why would u need a # anyway so if your haveing problems from your number just make up a new number

The reason was because I wanted to be able to actually answer the phone if eBay did one of those stupid surprise calls where they suspend you if you don't answer. And I thought that since the rest of the info was clean, they wouldn't care about just the phone number matching, for just a BUYER ACCOUNT. Oh well. Anyway this was a long time ago.

Then (as usual) you are the lucky one. Since ebay started throwing the closer checks on IDs, buyers accounts are getting suspended when old info is used.
The fact that a seller's account gets problems is also an issue. You can not AND should not say it is a different matter.

ebay is being much stricter with the use of old info.....

It's not a big deal to change the info for a buyer only account. Get prepaid credit card, send it to your work address, and you're good to go.

Don't make it more complicated. Some people make things so hard by trying to figure out ways to work less.
