Default Paypal limited, Ebay account not.

Here's my situation with one of my accounts. The paypal account has been limited and is in the 180 day cancellation process. The ebay account attached to it, is alive and well. Is there anyway I can unlink the ebay account and resue it. Or it's best to ditch it? The other interesting thing is. The ebay account has recently been billed the 100 dollars for the previous month of sales. And inside the paypal account is about 100 dollars left. Will ebay withdraw the 100 from the paypal account and pay for the ebay fees? I am hoping to salvage the ebay account. But if it's best to ditch it. I will. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

go to EB and delete you PP email to try to save the $100 Then Ditch it. and after the 180 days see if the 100 is on the PP then add to your bank.

I actually want to salvage that ebay account if possible. But I assume it is not possible.

You can add a Paymate account to your Ebay account if you still want to use it.

Well before anything, I actually want ebay to take the money from my paypal account to pay for the fees. And then I would unlink it from the paypal. However that is impossible since the paypal account is limited is that correct? Or can ebay still withdraw even though the account is limited. I just want the fees to be paid off before I do anything with the ebay account.

That don't work for me in Aus, eBay asks for money order or CC as PP automatic reject paying fees. i know how it feels to loose great accounts with wonderful amounts of feedback you put your heart and soul in, only having to give them up due to PP limitations.

I am surprised the ebay account hasn't gone down. I really want to save it. But it may be best to just let both of them die and start over.

Why would your Ebay die? If you pay your fees why would they suspend it? What were you selling on it?

Sadly enough, this has ALWAYS been my experience with ebay. Once paypal goes down, any linked ebay account shortly follows. I personally NEVER sell VERO, I always keep my fees paid up, and still.... any time a paypal crashes.... bye bye ebay. :(

paypal is not the only way to get paid, neither is paymate.
Most likely the ebay account will do down soon if you do not secure alternate payment methods.

It is possible to have an ebay account without a paypal....

Yeah I know, the only problem is the account has fee's due. Which I specifically left on the paypal account to pay for. However if I unlink the account. The ebay account will have no where to pay it. That means I will have to pay X amount of money out of my pocket to secure it. Then, I still run the risk of that ebay account being closed on me. So might as well just let it hang out and see what happens. I really don't care about the funds on the paypal account because I considered it ebay fee money. But we'll see how it plays out.
