Default Can you sell MEMBERSHIPS on ebay?

Here's my issue...

My ebay product are electronic coupons... they are barcoded and one use only, and completely legit (I have hundreds of happy customers across my various closed ebay accounts).

My problem is that ebay strictly forbids the sale of online coupons. So, every auction I must state that I ship first class mail (for free) and NEVER mention in any ebay related email that they are emailed. My first account got busted for this. I learned my lesson. Make EVERYTHING look like it's through the mail.

That gets to be a major pain in the ass, to be honest.

I was wondering - can I sell a MEMBERSHIP to a coupon club on ebay? You buy my auction, you're now a member for X months, and each month you're entitled to X coupons for free, through my website. No coupons actually are sold on ebay - JUST the membership.

I've tried to read up on this on ebays pages and it seems... I dont know! The rules are so tricky. Can I sell a membership to a "club" on ebay?

I've never heard of anyone trying it but if you do it on a stealth account and it doesn't work out then what do you have to lose? Just start another account and make whatever adjustments that are necessary

I think I read somewhere on PayPal that they prohibit the sales of memberships? Kind of like lottery crap I guess I dunno.

How can paypal prohibit what you sell on ebay, and especially memberships when they have a subscription billing model?

And how is a membership like a lottery?

I'd try it and see. You can sell items with conditions, for example a phone with a contract.... but you can't just sell the contract by itself. Anything that is not a tangible item is highly scrutinized.

`I'm gonna develop my membership plan (what you get, how much you pay, etc) and list it on there, and see if it lasts. I'm sure I'll sell a few before ebay notices tho.

I would sell the membership with a coupon.... like. "as an added bonus, you get this membership"

Add anything that is related to the "membership" such as a free t-shirt with membership to blah blah blah...

Like if it is a magazine subscription/membership, include a keychain related to the magazine.

Another example is like the OEM program if you can relate to OEM Microsoft products at all. You have to include a piece of hardware with the Microsoft OEM product.

I have the same question too, I sale 24 hour 30 days membership. Make a lot of money with this, they can be sent through email, did not invest anything in it. Is there a way to make it look legit, since when pp asked for invoices and I told them I found these for free, they suspended my account right away, it was the first time =.+.
