Activity: 0% Longevity: 82% | | bank accounts in U.K...
Hi guys looked everywhere frist but couldnt find the question to my answer. So thats why I started a new thread.
I opened up a new account with HSBC and was told names must match with pp and the name on the bank, or it will be raised as fraud.
Greenbean also said that HSBC in U.K are being funny about the name since early this year.
So my question is anybody using altered names with pp if so what bank accounts are you using?
Also if I was to open up multiple accounts all with different address, I.p, Bank Account, VCC. But I keepet my real name on all off my stealth accounts will that be enough for pp and ebay to link me? Ohh also I will be selling near enough the same types of things on all accounts.
Thanks.
Thanks

firstly I remember your other post you directly asked HSBC lady if altered name was a problem, well of course she would say it was a problem, its not very good idea to tell anyone anything like that, looks suspicious
Loads of forumers have different names to the bank account, the only one I heard gave you probs was llyods..other than that you should be ok....
the same name and multiple ebays, should be ok, not as good as different names but if there are no other links, should be ok...

means to an end list says HSBC isnt working, ok I stand corrected, someone must have confirmed that to go on the list. Ive got an HSBC current account, no probs, but it was attached few years back............
funny thing is they say Lloyds is a problem, but I have that one too, never had issue with names.....

Ok thats for that Oompa. Well today I got RBS account byt not the key account, I think its the one up.
Also I got Alliance & Leicester again not the Basic Cash Account, they just keept on saying get the Premier Current Account. In the end I thought OK just do it, or else they may think I'm up to somthing funny.
I also went to NatWest but they made me wait for more then 40 mins, in the end I just gave up, I'll try again in the morning.
By the way Abby are noe owned by Santander, Bradford & Bingley are part of Santander and now Alliance & Leicester are also joining Santander on the 1st of june 2010.
So my question is if we have 1 account in all these banks will they be linked? | |

Does anyone know if natwest and barclays are ok to have totally ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names?
Does it make any difference if one of these accounts is a business account at all?

Barclays is ok business even better because they will accept your real name or altered fictional business name, ive got loads being setup like this even at HSBC premier, business etc.
I do like Chris J Mont on paypal + ebay , my banking business is in real name Christian Mont etc and fictional is Chris j Mont worldwide services , so i could withdraw in Chris J Mont and Christian Mont etc they have no prob. I rekon business accounts are the way to go as nice exscuse is to open more accounts didnt work out so im shutting that account down and by the way im opening another 5 internet sites and need 5 more accounts havent refused me for 10 business accounts in one branch!
Natwest works to had a current account setup there no prob.

mine are not recently attached but Ive got barclays and natwest, they are fine
Ive just had a thought, possibly women get away with more because they can go by more than one surname, due to marriage....

@stick, no bank can have stealth details. You have to make the bank account in your real name.
Do you mean will they accept deposits later in a stealth name? If so, smile are OK provided they accept your application for an account

I have 1 current and 1 saving with them but the saver does not allow direct debits to go from it it is as basic as it's possible to get not enough features to be used as a stealth account

If the bank account doesn't accept the dd mandate it just means it can't be used as a funding source. Such accounts are still fine for withdrawing to.
