Hi,

I just got an 0844 number, can this number be used with eBay and Paypal?.

Or will they just limit the account?

you can use it as a contact number , like a mobile, just dont try and verify anything with it.

The area code / region code is vital.

You can virtual ones here with the actual area codes , so if you live in say leeds you will get a number with the area code 0113, with soho each number cost £2.00 and you dont even need to top up to get incomming calls .

Yes with Soho66 you need to top-up to have calls forwarded to your landline or mobile, with at least £5.

Net Telco lets you have 3 landline numbers (any code) as long as you have £10 credit in your account and there is no monthly charge so seems like a better bet imo. I havent cycled my 3 numbers yet so dont know if you can cancel one and grab another if an account goes down.

If you need more than 3 they cost £8.50 each, again there is no monthly fee, so I suppose it depends how long you expect the account to last?
