Confirm my location on Paypal :P Please help :)

Hello, apparently, paypal limited my account. So, I clicked ''Lift this Limit'' and there is three steps. I've done the two first, but the last one is incomplete ; Confirm my location among with my phone number.I have money on my paypal, and don't wanna lose it.

So, I had an idea. ''Why not use a Vanilla Mastercard''. Can I use it? Since there's an option on the Vanilla Master Card site, to register your card, with your identity (street, phone number, etc)?

I can confirm that the best card to get in order to confirm your location is a prepaid card from AdvanceAmerica or Netspend. These cards allow you to create "virtual cards" that you can use. You can create and use unlimited numbers, all attached to the main card. The other neat thing is they have a savings account and routing number you can use to confirm. I have one of these and have confirmed more than one account with the virtual card numbers I have created

Dont get the mastercard one get the Vanilla Visa it works

you can get it at shoppers drug mart

After you buy it you go to their website printed on the back of the card and register it for online purchases. Add the same address you have on paypal to it.

I swear I just had this happen a couple weeks ago, it did give a few options to verify and yes one of them was a phone call but there were alternate options and adding the credit card was one of them.

I am going by what OP said about paypal asking for location confirmation with phone number..that is something we have to do in UK to lift sending and receiving limits, due to a (phony) EU directive

Thanks for your reply guys ! Well, there's only 3 options. Confirm by scanning, credit card or bank account.

My question is, since it says credit card, can I buy a prepaid credit card (MasterCard or Vanilla), register it with my STREET ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, to verify? That's the only step left to lift my limit :(

Hi. I have 2 stealth accounts running. Both of them have vanilla visa gift cards on file. I registered the cards online with all different info. Regarding the phone, I bought 2 trackphones and also registered them online with completely @@@@@@ info and picked phone numbers with area codes matching stealth accounts zip codes.

Thanks for all the replies. But my question is, since I can register my vanilla mastercard with location + phone number on vanillamastercard's site.

Can I use it to confirm my location+phone number on paypal? They limited it, until I confirm location + phone number together.

And yes, there's an option to verify trough credit card (bank card and scanning bills).

How long have your accounts been running for by doing that? Do you also have a bank on file? Im thinking of doing the tracfones and visa vanilla way .Thanks

I have the same problem. So I tried the vanilla gift card, went online registered it but it only asked for my zip code and it didn't work.

I am limited right now and the only option is to add a CC to verify address. What other CC card can I use? Have you solved yours laylaylay?

Did you get the vanilla visa or mastercard?

I don't think the mastercard one works anymore. The visa worked for me twice last week on paypal.

I got the visa one. When you registered it online, did it ask for your whole address or just the zipcode? When I tried to add it on paypal it says the card issuer won't allow to see billing address.

PS: I just read your post, you said register it for online purchases. I went to their website and I can't seem to figure out how

Are you aware that Google Voice is open for registration? Just forward your number and done.

@The guy/gal who mentioned netspend. They USED to be good for getting verified, but they do require a social now for sign up. You also can't use their deposit option now because the name has to match your paypal or funds wont transfer.

I just called vanilla visa customer service this morning and the guy said they just changed it 3 days ago. You cannot put your whole address anymore, just the zipcode :(

Any other CC that I can use to verify my address? Thank you in advance.
