7 day suspension? what does it mean

Hello all,

Pardon my ignorance but I would like to know exactly what "7 day suspension" actually means.

does it mean that during the 7 days that i am suspended i am not allowed to use ebay at all e.g. using another account to access ebay or creating a new account until the timed suspension is over?

So when the 7 days is over can i then use another account or even create a new one without reinstating the account that has been disabled during the actual suspension?

or does it mean something else entirely

This means they gave you a slap on the hands for something... after the 7 days is up--usually you email them, they may reinstate right away- sometimes they want you to fax in an agreement to never do again whatever you did..
and-NO-they do not want you to use ebay in any way , shape or form during that suspension...
(guess it all comes down to what teh infraction was?)--
This sounds like something very minor?
I lost my Power seller status for 30 days for keyword spamming a couple years ago.. never had just a 7 day suspension..

I had a "7 Day Suspension" before and what it means is during the 7 days you cannot use ebay and you have to wait 7 days before you can appeal.

I think a 7 day is kinda rare nowadays from ebay...they usually just ban you.

If its been past the 7 days just reply to them and say to reinstate your account and they will most likely reinstate. Thats what I did..and also I had to print sign and fax them something that said I wouldn't violate ebays policies anymore. Try this before creating a new account.

eBay is slow getting the faxes and acting on them.

it usually takes like 3-7 days i noticed with ebay after you send that form in.

with paypal on the other hand, the fastest i had a reinstatement after faxing docs was next day!

Just got suspended tonight for at least 7 days. I looked up the reinstate process. It requires a copy of utility bill and government ID. How do you guys get around the government ID thing? Help please.
