 Am I overlooking anything?
Hi there, I was just suspended from eBay selling due to DSR's (after six years, 99% feedback yadda yadda...had two people leave low ratings because they bought cell phones that weren't compatible with their carrier and now I'm banned, MC999). I'm sure a lot of members have far worse stories, so I'm not asking for sympathy haha, I'm just SO glad to have found this forum! I was absolutely flipping out as it is my only source of income and I am paying my way through grad school right now so bills, bills, bills. It looks like there is, after all, hope thanks to you guys. This may be very long I apologize, I am new to all of this. I just bought Stealth but don't want to rush in and mess anything up, I wanted to check with some experts first.
I may have lucked out: my girlfriend has had an eBay buying account since 2006 or so that she never uses and said I can use. She has a verified PP account with it thought she's never really used it. What I am planning on doing (please correct me if I am in error) is having her set up her selling account up with all of her info (her phone number, credit bureau questions, etc). From what I've read I think it may have a $5K limit for the first few months, not sure...shouldn't be a huge issue anyway, I can live with that though not ideal. I'm not going to list a ton the first month or two anyway as to not raise suspicion. Then I am going to link a new checking account with her existing PP account so I can withdraw money from items sold. At first I am going to send all items from her name and address (she lives in a different city but I'm there quite a bit so I can make this work), and in a month or so I am going to get a UPS box and send my items from that address. All will be done from a new IP address (the only thing I am worried about is that we both logged in from her IP before my account was suspended...is that a problem?). The nice thing is that she can submit her ID and confirm that it is actually her account with legit info, if need be. So it's essentially just her account linked to my bank account, being accessed from a different location, this should work right?
One other factor: buying via eBay is another huge part of my business...I have two credit cards linked to my suspended account, and buying with credit is very important to me, so I would like to continue buying with this account if possible (only selling was suspended). As long as I access these two accounts from different IP addresses, and have no shared info between accounts, there should be no problem right? So it will be a cycle between buying with my suspended account, having it shipped to one address, selling it from another account on different IP and shipping form my UPS address (or my girlfriend's address at first). Then moving money back to my buying account and repeat. I will even attempt to make my pictures/auctions look different than my old account, though I don't know if this is necessary.
I would really appreciate if someone would poke holes in this or tell me if it sounds okay. If I'm being completely redundant and need to search, please yell at me! This is a bit different than most stealth accounts as it is mostly legit info, so I thought I'd type my specific info, thanks so much in advance!
