Default Stupid Newbie

Basically, I'm slightly worried I imported 'goods' from China in the possibility of selling on eBay. I pre-listed these items (stupid newbie) in bulk 20pcs (stupid newbie) and this is on an account with my real name and address (stupid newbie). These goods have been seized by customs - what is the procedure?

I also have one other item in transit from same supplier to same address it should be in UK by Monday, what's the likelihood of it passing customs?

My supplier is stating that he will re-send the item again, and I feel I can hold some customers to wait but refund others.

Basically my question(s):

1) Should I get a refund from my supplier and refund my customers

2) Should I do this, this one last time as it would really help my situation as I used my loan to purchase goods and if I do 1), I'll be £300 down.

I'm just slightly worried I'll be f'd - let me know your opinions

Thanks

refund the quick payments and hopefully some will pay late so you be able to collect on those. just take the lost sales and send them cancel transactions and hope for the best.

My advice would be to postpone all future shipments from "China" for the time being, the likely hood of them passing customs are 100% indefinite because they've picked up on your address likely I know they are "VERO" items. Number one he said he's send you more goods not a good idea if sending to the same address, I wouldn't hold your breath on getting a refund from anyone doing business in "China". Only refund they will give you is something in the region of 10p in the pound you spend with them. I know because I'm also a past importer from China and if your dealing with someone of "DH Gate" then I would be worried. If You've took the money already I would refund all buyers straight away because you don't want buyers taking action against your eBay sellers account. More than likely your previous first post at the bottom answer your question my friend. Hope you resolve the issue.

What if I send to another address miles away?

Also what is the procedure after first ever customs seizure (and likelihood of second with new package following the first)?

I just want to be able to sell one final batch in order to get back to where I started from to be honest. Then I'll leave it at that.

I've got a 2nd package following up real closely the 1st item - being delviered to the same address.

Is this more than likely to be seized again Vero items. only 14pcs.

Cheers

We shall see I guess, okay cheers. I'll keep you updated.

Finally, If it does get seized again - will it be the same procedure as simply receiving a letter and them asking me to dispose of the goods?

Cheers

Yeah I've recieved the goods, I think I just got lucky though as it seems to have just bypassed customs for some reason.

Lousy customs not doing their job, tut, tut.

Doesn't add up how can customs seize one consignment of "VERO" items then let a similar one through to the same address a few days after?, it doesn't make sense and why would UK customs not black list your address?. Good luck if you've received them just sounds to good to be true!.
