Default How do I cancel a sale without the buyers agreement?

I recognised the shipping name on a recent sale, buyer hasnt paid yet, the address is a far east country, I had sold the same item to the buyer over 6 months ago on a different account, sent it out recorded or airsure and they complained item not received even though they signed for the item... took ages to sort out paypal holding my money etc etc.
Anyway id rather not have the grief of this again so how can I cancel the sale without ebay asking the buyer if they want to?
Ive changed the ship to options to exclude that part of the world now, I sent a cancel sale 'buyer requested shipping to a country I dont ship to' but they declined.

What can I do?

If they have declined a cancel attempt already then you are a bit `screwed`in that sense. Open an unpaid query and hope for the best.

Ok thanks, so what would have been the best way to go about it? If it happened in the future for instance?

Make sure you block the bidder in future.

Cant you just say the item was damaged during packaging - be inventive if they ask.

Wouldnt be able to claim damage, its pretty indestructible TBH, I just wanted to know if anybody knew the full process of the different options, with most it seems you have to ask the buyer if you can cancel the sale which is pretty crap, a few years ago you could cancel the sale and they wouldnt get the option to even leave you feedback which is how it should be.
My item, I should decide if you can buy it or not!

He has not paid yet right? Do the unpaid and see how it goes first.

They are asking for a total, even though its already been worked out by the checkout process, they bought two of the same items, im thinking maybe I would be better not requesting payment just yet as once they have paid I have to stick to my 24 hour dispatch crap, basically I have to think about what im going to do much quicker

Let them pay for the item but send nothing.

When the item not received case gets opened send them the refund. I'm fairly sure when the case is settled in the resolution centre, you'll get the final value fee refunded.

Alternatively, try Customer Support they may cancel the transaction and refund the fees if you explain you do not ship to that country.

Then return the money or send the item - make sure you send it where you get a signature.

If it was me I would return the money and say as you are no longer registered on Ebay I cannot deal with you - end of the matter - job done!

I think once they are banned you can't finish the transaction anyway. Just sit back and watch PP return there money to them.
Once a buyer got banned and the money got back to me after I said I sent it....not.
