I had 2 accounts on eBay that are 8-10 years old. I got the MC999 suspension on both due to number of opened cases despite good DSRs and 99+% positive feedback. I was resolving all the disputes and the buyers were happy etc... I didn't know it's # of open cases that count regardless of whether they're resolved or not. One of their reps mis-informed me when the new policy came out that as long as i resolved the cases they wouldn't count against me.
Acct #1 is completely closed but acct #2 is weirdly only partially closed: ebay essentially allows me to sell out my inventory but not able to list new items on acct #2. This has been going on for 1 year now still selling but can't list new items or relist completed items acct #2. Both accts are still linked to the same PP acct still accepting payments and everything from acct #2. Why haven't they shut down the PP acct and has anyone ever had a 1/2 way-suspended acct like my #2 acct? What the heck is that about? I want to use a stealth eBay acct and link it to my PP acct which is linked to the partially-suspended eBay acct #2...is that risky?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Oh, and i keep getting emails from ebay to list items for free on the suspended accts; then when I think they've reinstated my accts and try to list...nope... gotcha! I have asked them repeatedly to no avail to stop sending me the free listing emails since my accts are restricted.

Have you ever watched the Wimbledon mens tennis? A guy called John McEnroe used to play. He was a really good player but he had one bad fault. He used to argue with the umpire.
On one occasion he said to the umpire "You cannot be serious"
