Talking In yo FACE Suntrust!

A while back I posted that a few days after I opened my first Suntrust accounts they closed them saying that I was doing "illicit activites" even though I never even had a chance to use the accounts (wtf Suntrust?).

I shrugged it off since I still had BoA and other banks that were, in my opinion, a lot better for stealth anyway.

But nooOOOOooOOoOOOoOo,

Suntrust went ahead and reported me to Early Warning Services LLC, the company that gives banks inside tips as to whether or not you're a good banking customer or not. A few weeks later, BoA shut down all of my accounts and said I had to bank elsewhere, and that they could not give me any information on the matter other than to contact Early Warning Services to inquire about what was going on.

So I called them and the lady who I talked to was very nice and understanding and told me that I could request a copy of the information that Suntrust submitted to them as my one "free credit report" for the year that everyone is entitled to, and if I felt as if the information was invalid, I could dispute it.

I got the report the next day via fax, looked it over, called BS and shenanigans on all of their claims and filed a dispute. A week and a half later (yesterday) I get a letter in the mail from Early Warning Services that says

Quote:
Dear Mr. Giardino,

Blah Blah Blah we are writing to inform you that we have completed your dispute investigation that you requested and Suntrust Bank has re-evaluated their claims. As a result of this investigation, we have concluded that the information contained in their claim was indeed false information and/or information that could not be backed with sufficient evidence.

Resulting immediately, you are removed from our databases and should no longer have any issues so long as you maintain this good track record. We have also forwarded a copy of this letter and a copy of the full investigation to Bank of America so that you may re-open any closed accounts that you may wish to re-open there.

WooT!

Omg I wish I could do that! Will it work with bank of america because I had too many overdraft fees in like 1 year or no? I was reported to chex systems, but I don't know about early warnings.. Is it the same or what?

'Dino, proud of your pro-active moves - way to work against the default system.

Might as well try something like that FanDango - welcome back to the forums.

I think it went way back when I first learned about stealth 1 - 1.5 years ago and I got a little to account-happy and opened a LOT of ally bank accounts in the same day. I think what happened was that ally reported to suntrust and suntrust kept that info for the whole year or so until I made an account with them. After I registered for the account they mustve checked my info with the chex systems & early warning databases and saw the red flag from ally bank.

Needless to say, this is all sorted out and I now have all of my accounts back.

Also, nkwatch, I got this warning in the form of not being able to log into my BoA or Suntrust accounts one day -_-
