I have 6 right now. Is it really possible to have that many? Anyone here at that level?

Yes , but I am in UK - just be sensible and open slowley.

Try and 'get in there' with your local bank staff. I have by just being a friendly happy chappy with no attitude and it seems to have worked. Now, whenever I need to open or close accounts, they do it for me, no questions asked and pretty much do it for me there and then.

Yes it is possible. But if you went and opened them all at once that may raise flags.

I have much more than 20
It all depends on your bank and the relationship you have with them.

It is possible. You'd want to mix it up among banks and use other services such as Greendot, which is better than banks IMO.

I only have 4 atm but spread out 3 real banks. One of female employees at a local credit union told me to open them slowly and leave over a certain in the accounts. Also good to open some investment accounts with them.

I have over 20 greendot accounts just so you know more than a few months old and no problems up to now.

My thing is. BOA just declined two transfers to my account because the name didn't match. Anyone else have this trouble?
