Default Restriction given - no stated time - so?

I got an email from eBay 2 weeks ago saying "We are regretful to inform you
that your account has been full restricted for the high percentage of
“bad buyer experience”."

Unlike many common restrictions in which they tell you you've been restricted for 7 or 30 days, etc., they tell me nothing about how long this restriction will last.

eBay live chat rep told me it would be removed the next month but come April and nothing has changed. I am doubtful it will change in 2 more weeks (one month from email) too.

Does anyone have any idea how long this will last?
Anyone encountered such a situation before?
No time given - does this mean that it is indefinite?!?

This may be the result of a few low DSRs.
I only got low DSRs in December and March.
Does this mean I have to wait till December for the DSRs to drop off?
No idea if the account will even be reinstated then.

I have sent eBay two emails in the last week with no reply.
Anything else I can do?
Btw, this is eBay UK.

it probably says indefinite restriction, which basically means forever. start over and improve your service level

Tried both of that a few times!
Depending on who you get, they all tell you different stories and you know you can't trust any of them.
The fact, as we all know is, they really don't care and if you're asking for an answer, they will just give you whatever answer they can come up with so that you can get lost soon, doesn't matter if the answer is right or even makes sense.

Yesterday, I finally managed to contact someone who seems to know what's going on.

Well, I don't exactly understand how they calculate DSRs.
And some things that I see on my seller dashboard really confuse me.
For example, I looked at my 12 month trending data.
It shows that I have 4 low DSRs for dispatch from April 2011 - March 2012.
Then on the daily performance, which says "Evaluation period: 01 Apr, 2011 - 31 Mar, 2012", that is same time period as the 12 month data, it says I have 5 for dispatch.
It is this 5 that is causing me to fail the minimum requirements and get restricted.
If I have a 4, I would be standard and not below standard.

I know this post is 3 months old but since nobody gave you a correct answer, I'll post this anyways. The restriction is NOT forever, but usually until the DSR or disputes wear off. Unfortunately, that is usually 12 months, especially since they were recent.

I must be really lucky then...
Because they unrestricted me just 2 months later.
And I have been selling for the past 2 months.
I have gone from below standard to above standard during this time, so the DSR and account non-performance is definitely not an issue anymore.
I'm watching it closely though.
