before they suspend you for non payment? Right now I'm selling without one. Is using the same cc again or a bogus bank acct more favorable in this situation?

MOdee can probably best answer this. He'll be back soon; he's on a business trip right now.

I went 60 days without making payment before they suspended me.
Of course, this was last year, things may have changed.

They try to charge your CC once. If declined they try again in a couple days. If declined again, they then remove the card and you can't list until you put a card on and they AVS check the card and verify it has funds in it.

When they take the CC off after 2 tries, you can put the same CC back on the same account and gain more time and use of the card, ebay will just verify it again. Your account is considered current until 30 days late. When you reach 30 days late, you will normally have 5-10 days. The last month or so, ebay seems to be tweaking things, and they are restricting 30 day late accounts after 1-5 days. REMEMBER - YOU CAN REUSE CC NUMBER ON THE SAME ACCOUNT A LONG AS THE ACCOUNT IS ACTIVE. Once the account is NARU, you should never try to use that CC again,.

I try to play the timing game as ebay bills in two cycles 1-15 and 16-31. As an example If you you are in billing cycle ending the 15th, and start listing on the 16 you will have 30 days listings before the first invoice hits your account. You will then have another 30 days to list before you are 30 days late and facing limited (not suspended account). Suspension will follow in 15-30 days.

I always have 4-6 selling accounts ready to start selling in both billing cycles. These accounts have have CC verified FB of 5 so I can list BIN and get FB (usually from my own buyer accounts) I always pay the few dollars for listing/value fees when I get the invoice see the account is current when I actually start using account.

Also note that ebay is ALWAYS changing their systems and logarithms, recently we lost 2-7 days that used to be available after 30 days late. Five years ago, you could got 90 days late, then they changed to 60 days late, then to 30 day late. They also constantly tweak things, so you need to be on your toes for maximum use of your accounts,

I just had my selling and bidding priviledges put on hold so too late to apply the cc again even though I did so I gave them banking info to "pay" the entire amount so I could list again. I'm ready for the hammer to fall on me any day now.

Nutsack - Why didn't you do a one time payment with your PayPal account?

You should be OK as long as you gave them banking info to pay your fees.

eBay tried charging my Simon card on 5/16 and again on 5/20 and my card was declined both times.

I hurried up and made a one time payment though, perhaps this is why they haven't removed my card?

I don't have a paypal account. Not that it would matter anyway. You pay the fees alot of times and you are suspended in a few days anyway.

You can always do a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one time payment from a made up checking account.
Once you pay off the balance, log off and then log back in and you can now add your expired CC again. It will get you another 2-3 weeks of selling privileges.
