I set my account to the wrong country - am I screwed?

So I made a sale over a year ago and when I received the money my account was limited. I tried to figure out how to un-limit it and was told to just wait a while and it would get un-limited.

But now it's over a year later and it's still limited.

The problem is I can't do a damn thing about it because I live in Canada but the account says I live in America. Whoops.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Very difficult to do - it is possible but ONLY after you ID verify the 'bajeezus' out of it.

@copeeland, welcome to the forums. When a pp account goes limited, it does not just become unlimited - unless you work with pp on it, it stays limited FOREVER.

Time for you to go stealth - all the best - get the guide +/- read around the forums.

Copeeland they basically want you to verify your address which I am pretty sure you cannot do as your location on paypal is in the US. Hopefully you called them.
