Default My ebay listing was removed (I suspect competitors)

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and I do a bit of selling on Ebay. Not much I am not greedy I haven't got my eBay Stealth yet. I've tried to buy it but I can't with a debit card I need a credit card which I don't have one yet.

My question is can I relist item which was removed from my ebay using MC019 for "copyright breach"(Vero) on my account second time? I listed Microsoft software and I guess someone grassed me up. I am 99.99% sure that is someone selling the same software. I know thro a small research Ireland Dublin guys(probably 1 or 2 under many different accounts) sell 10 of those a day and get away. I have not used anyone's pictures, I used my own description and I sold one and the other one got removed. I also listed one on my girlfriends account with new picture and new description and that got removed as well. My girlfriends account is on same IP address on my PC.
Both accounts are not new. They are good feedback accounts with no zero feedback or warnings.

I need an advice on how to relist 2 items I have. Should I put username in picture next to a product when I take a picture? Should I write this is my own description and not copied? Should I open new accounts on existing Paypal accounts and do it from there?

I would be grateful for any advice

MC019 rarely is from competitors if it's a microsoft product.
microsoft themselves do the work.

Stop selling it would be my advice.

Good Luck

I am not selling loads and loads. I only had 3 items to sell. I sold 1 and others got removed.
I just wonder how do others get away with selling much more of the same product?
I see on their account they sold like 4-6 one after another and I got mine removed for advertising just 2. Others advertise 3 at a time or at least 2. I think they are same people using new accounts. What i notice on those accounts they buy 2-3 very little value items to get 3 positive feedback and then list 2-3 Microsoft items at a time. Sell a few and then again new accounts and the cycle goes on and on.

Welcome to the forums.

Do NOT relist unless 1) you have ok from the folx involved in the takedown or 2) you dont care about the life of your account.

They took 2 listings of one account and 1 listing from another account.
Do 2 listings taken off one account class as 1 time warning or 2 warnings?

I used to think that my listings were removed by competitors but it is not the case. I can assure you! I then learned through trial and error how to avoid vero and safe harbor all together but of course I will not reveal this to anyone even if they were to pay me 5K. So you either stop selling vero items or you find out by experimenting. I have lost many accounts due to that but I came out more knowledgeable about how eBay vero system operates. I love eBay now!

Not for all vero, just for what you sell. Competitors DO get listings removed. And help to link you to your other accts.

I can assure you it's rarely the competitors, especially when it comes to VERO.

You just need to see what they are doing differently to what you are doing.

Look at how they have the content written, what photos have they used and such, but please do not copy just what they have done.

Stan is right.... I mostly only sell branded items. The other stuff is just to hard to sell...

Forget about those guys with 2-3 listings. They simply just have not been caught yet. Follow them and in small amount of time you will see they will be banned.

Also, for such violations as Software you can get the boot after one violation if the complaint is copy of f@ke

I was very carefully looking at their listings and there is nothing visible to be different. Same category and other similar things. Maybe they do some sort of system manipulation when listing, like different category which later can be changed,I don't know. But I will find out for educational purpose only of course
I don't think that is the case of they have not been caught yet. If you list 6 or 8 software items in one go and sell them all without any being removed you must know exactly how vero works and how to avoid radars. Especially if account was created 2days ago before starting listing all items.

I was thinking maybe they reported me to vero for doing something similar. Why would you want someone to step on your land? All you have to do is send an email to vero member listing item numbers and similarities for his attention from another account. I'm sure if I send vero notification about 6 items listen in one go on new account they all will go down quite soon
