New request from paypal for bank account?

Havent been making too many accounts recently but this is a first

Entered my bank details and paypal said they were verified but they want me to fax bank account details showing the deposit from them?

Not heard of this before. What are they wanting: bank statement with the info, a screenshot from online or mini-statement? Do they specify?

It's a fairly easy workaround irrespective.

Is the account showing verified and is this fax request showing as a "to do"?

have just went into the paypal and its not showing the bank account so they have rejected it for verification, its an old isa account i had which i used so maybe its that type of account they dont like

ISA accounts can be hit & miss...

they work sometimes.

Sorry it was the account & nothing more odious from a stealth position

^ just on the point of ISA's, from speaking to a few forum members recently, stay away from them for stealth purposes, unless the names match up.
