Default Paypal and secure trust payments

Hi

I added secure trust as a bank account over a week ago and secure trust can confirm I have a direct debit on the account setup with paypal so I know I have added the bank details correct.

The only problem is the deposits are not coming through.. It's been 7 days.. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Did you ever get that Santander?

If not, Co-Op is good.

Hi Tizwoz,

Do you know which specific account it was? The online saver or the instant saver?

Cheers in advance.

Have been following this thread & have checked out the FAQ's on the Post Office Online Saver Account, which staes in one part "Direct Debit deposits can be withdrawn against 4 business days after the money reaches your Online Saver account. Debit card deposits can be withdrawn against as soon as the money reaches your Online Saver." so I would think that this should be OK for PayPal & could be the one TizWoz was on about.

The instant Saver Account states "Online transfers
You can transfer money from your personal bank or building society account to your Instant Saver account using your online banking service. You’ll need your Instant Saver account number and the sort code 90-78-68." This dosen't make it clear if transfers can be made into the account by a third party, but it could be OK.

Will need to check it out at our local PO & update later

Almost certainly a 'soft' check i.e. ID and address verification.

As it's a savings account it should not require a full credit check. However you should read their T&C's and application criteria before applying.
