Exclamation HELP!! MC008 Notice eBay Account Limited Verify Identity

Hi New member here and looking for help regarding my problem

I received a email with the MC008 NOTICE to verify identity .

I emailed seller veti with the relevant documents , passport drivers licence , bank statement , bill ,

Ebay said this would be resolved in 24-48 hours but this was now 1 week ago and still no reply from anyone . I have called ebay and been on live chat and keep getting told there is no direct contact with the department that deals with this and they can only send a follow up email but its now 1 week and beginning to panic .

Has anyone had this problem and how quick was it resolved or what did you do to get it resolved .

Any help would be appreciated . thanks

it is better than an immediate no.

a week is not unusual

it is either in a queue or they have sent it to another team for further inspection.

there have to be some issues with your account?

thanks for the message oompa .

its just because it says 24-48 hours for reply and i really want to get selling again . i did ask if i could open another account while my other one was active and i was told yeah that wont be a problem and i the other newer account get closed and then i called to make sure my balance was going to be cleared and then they told me my account was on lock when it wasnt and thats when i got the email .

i know that sounds confusing . all the details are correct and i wasnt doing anything i didnt check with ebay first .

is a week or so normal for a reply then yes ?

ebay limitations are usually easy to pass compared to paypal, try emailing over and over til you get a non-automated response. Did you upload or fax as sometimes faxes dont arrive. A week is not unusual but you might want to prompt them if you are in a hurry....

thanks again oompa .

got it resolved . i got a email from ebay today saying

Thank you for taking the time to send the information we requested for your account '*************'.

We have received your documents; however I'm afraid they didn't come through the verification process. We have received the invoice for 10 items only.

You may list items within your available selling allowance which is 100 items and 3500£.
If you would like this reviewed at any stage please forward us additional invoices.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response so that we can resolve this matter as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Kylie Stortford
eBay Selling Allowance Team

The thing is i wasnt contacting to see about getting the 100 items lifted i thought i was just sending them the details to verify my identity . not complaining as i am back selling even with my 100 limit its better than nothing just now .
