Default My PayPal Limitation story

So I just recently had unlimited my PayPal I had to talk to a lot of people, I mean a bunch of, for days on end, they wanted proof of SSN, EIN, Buisness Documentation, and supplier invoices. Now I was never selling anything on ebay with this account, however they still requested invoices. I was selling iPhone unlocks and then money from this account that I display in the picture below was sent to another account (which probably triggered the lock), the other account that it was sent to is my mothers account, and it is still locked, however that one will be much easier to unlock because it was only locked because it had a connection to my account that got locked. But I think what triggered the filters to limit my account was because of how much money I had transferred to an account that was on the same IP address as me.

A lot of money had went through this account, how much you ask? $14,000, so now some of you may be thinking "Holy ****, thats a lot of money, how did you manage to stay away from a PayPal limitation for so long??"

Now, I have to say, this wasn't a stealth account, it was just my regular account, and today I got it unlimited, but the weird thing was they said to me

PP: "For what are you going to use this account for, if we were to unlimit it?"

ME: "Im going on a joint venture with one of my friends, were going to sell some stuff"

PP: "Okay well were going to need documentation on your supplier"

So I began to get pissed off, and I asked well why do I need to give you a supplier invoice information if I already sent all that stuff in.

Now did I ever send invoices in? NO
I had just explained all my transactions inside a PDF, but this wasnt what the representative was asking me, they were asking me for my new suppliers information before I even began it!
The transactions I had made were all for virtual goods, and they didn't have tracking information, however it seemed like PayPal considered me a "risk" as they said it, and said that they had a ran a credit check on my SSN and that I had no credit, well this is obvious because I dont, but isn't it interesting how as soon as they figured out I had no credit I was considered a "risk"? Well some of you are probably saying "With an account that big, with that much money, no kidding"

Lets continue

So we had argued on the phone for about 5-8 minutes today, and they wanted to know all about what I was going to be doing next with my PayPal account, and they finally said if I dont provide information on supplier info, than this account will be closed down again, they said "provide info as soon as you start making money on this account, or it will be limited" and she said they considered the account "closed", however they said they would restore it.

PP: "Were going to keep this account closed, if you want to do buisness with us again, open a new account."

ME: "Why do I have to open a new account?"

PP: --No answer--

PP: "Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

ME: "Is my account unlimited?"

PP: "Within 10 minutes... email will be sent..."

So all in all, the account was unlimited, but what they said was if I starting making money on it again, they are going to limit it and ask for more information. I am pretty sure they have a close eye on me right now

And that is all I asked, hmm...

I went thru the same thing except I had over $60k in my account. Complete nightmare. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Transferring from one PP to another PP and on the same IP?

PP eventually Limited my account forever.

I think that once an account is Limited it's flagged forever and it's just a matter of time before PP doesn't trust you again.

Like when your spouse cheats on you, the trust is never regained no matter how hard both sides try to mend the damage.

If I had a stealth account for every time I heard that one!

GB

Anyways you should make more stealths or send them SOME kind of invoice or registered pdf that you are selling 001, 002.

But for the best part I would say get to Chase bank in the states open up an account, and for $20 a month I think, you get unlimited amounts of customers to pay your website or services online. And no additional fees maybe this changed over the years but it's a business account. Look into it so no more bs with paypal.

Also ask Roscoe he is a real GURU with PP. HE HAS A LOT OF EXP with them!

Maybe one day the pain of having that big account frozen will lapse from my memory? Not!

Experience with PP is something I wish I didn't have to become an expert at.

I have a family member who ABUSES the living hell out of his PP account. Logs in from Public wifi on a daily basis, sends money to family and friends, receives money is all kinds of transactions, no receipts, etc...

And they have never had a problem.

Dude you know you are my favorite on this site! #1!!! I read everything you post! I learn a lot from you no joke!

I know the things that happened too you with PP still creep up in the nightmares! But look you learned great knowledge from being stealth, and with great knowledge comes great responsibilities, you might not be spiderman! But you learned something knew because of something that happened in the past and you can use this "gift" for other things, as you said too someone else before on the forums "don't keep all your eggs in one basket"! So having 1 pp, it's what you did! And look what happened, now you don't have to worry about it!

Now the negative is positive! Be happy!

I understand, others might be lucky, and you might not be. Etc. It's like robbing bank you posted. No worries some day they'll come running to you for help and you'll feel like a god saying! "75 stealths baby!" You can always charge people once they have a problem with PP within the family.

Give it time Ros, some day you'll look back at this laughing.

If you read his post properly (or heck, even just read the title), it would be obvious that he is just sharing his experience.

You're a 100% correct. PP freezing my funds was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Every month I had funds flowing thru my account wondering when it would be limited

Now I feel I have the power. No more kissing arse begging PP for a favor.

LOL Oh man! You crack me up! I don't know if you read any of my posts but I did say that one time a guy in your shoes, had the same problem 180 days and he called up a lawyer he sent PP a letter, within hours it was unblocked! I guess it's cheaper to unlock the blocked funds, then to pay a lawyer for no reason in courts!

An associate of mine had 40k tied up with PP after his account got Limited.

He hired a lawyer and PP released his money within a week. Cost him $800, but he got his money.

Roscoe I wouldn't really hire a lawyer, 1st of all. I'd get documents, and send it in! with a lot of vocabulary words! and some logs and numbers, and a dummy website to make it look good! $5 only!

I wouldn't hire someone for $800 knowing 100% sure in 180 days I'd get it back.

I'd manipulate the whole thing! Wouldn't be the first time! I use to do it all the time, still do with things in life! Got to get around some how right?
