Vanilla Visa is a more preferable option - few years back mastercard had issues with pp - unsure if it`s been changed but you could test and report back.

These are good for AVS, i've tested successfully on several accounts.

Vanilla Mastercard works fine but I've found the Vanilla Visa to display the expuse code almost instantly where the Mastercard takes a couple of days.

When you get the card, dont forget to go on the website of Vanilla and register the zipcode to match that of your stealth account

Tried one a few days ago, and my account got deleted. (You're referring to the OneVanilla card right?)

New email, new IP (launched a new VPS), new address, new phone, and no cookies (used remote desktop onto my VPS to create the account).

This is just 1 data point, so YMMV.

Account being deleted - for eB right? Suspension and ban are common but straight up deletion...kind of an oddity

Hm...that's odd. I've used multiple Vanilla Visas without issue in the past so it must have been the VPS then.

I started using VPSes a couple of weeks ago and some of my accounts are still open for Amazon. Maybe Amazon only bans certain IP ranges?

In any case, I guess for now I'm still stuck with using my remote DSL IP addresses.

No it was for Amazon. It's this type of deletion: http://askville(DOT)amazon(DOT)com/E...estId=88284729

(I'm not sure if Aspkin auto anonymizes so replace the DOT with .)

Ah ok - clearer - this post is under eBay specifics though...best to start the thread in Amazon. Amazon has been known to delete accounts if test charge on your card fails too - did you keep a balance on the card?

Yep, I bought an $100 card to cover for potential refunds/fees...etc

My mistake, I saw the subsection as Credit Card Alternatives, so I thought it wasn't bound to Amazon or Ebay. On a side note, why is the Amazon section of this forum so small?
