I do it like this first you cant use any normal email personal domains work best example sales at discoducks dot com or if you have to use regular like yahoo or g mail example ebayfivver at G and dont forget the MAIL dot com . Most people get that but not all .
Example simple at YAH plus OO dot com
Usually works i also do this sometimes simple at y1a1h1o1o1 dot com please take out the ones (1)

Sucks but most get it
this is the easiest option. i've also asked for mobiles before and texted people.
ask them to send their phone number and call them. thats what i do these days.
you get to speak to them
answer any questions
can give assurance and confidence to the buyer
usually ends in a sale
stops you taking risks
there are so many reasons asking for phone numbers is a good idea.
