thats just a myth, i had stuff taken by customs before but receive countless other stuff.

Use a different carrier ( dhl is best for branded goods IMO )

Blacklist is not a myth. It is very real in the UK, both for exporters and importers addresses.

If you are importing branded items and customs decide to open it, then you will not get your item. This has nothing to do with DHL/FedEx/EMS.

I very much doubt that there is a time frame on how long your address will get flagged for. Data is very cheap to store and easy to analyse these days so there is no reason for customs to remove you data from their database.

I can't speak for UK members. But US Customs is keeping tabs now on people in the US who import large quantities of phakes/banded goods. There has been at-least one member who was part of this site who was raided by US Customs/Border Security. Be careful how deep you get into some of this stuff. Importing phakes gives US customs a free look at what you are doing.

US Customs keeps a list of names and addresses associated with EVERY seizure. That does not mean that every single package going to that address will be stopped by them, but the "blacklist" is not a myth here in the USA.

It isn't necessarily a blacklist here. It is a follow up on list. If you keep importing after multiple seizures. I don't know how many I haven't imported in many many years. I finally realized many years ago dealing with that nonsense only leads to trouble with eBay or worse. They will keep tabs on you and take appropriate action if they deem necessary. It is no joke. Like I said before at least one member on here got raided. He now has a very serious and legal situation which I am sure will be very costly with a potential felony conviction on their record. Be careful what you deal with. From everything I understand US Customs has been cracking down the past 2 to 4 years. 5-10 years you use to see massive amounts of eBay sellers 20 to 30 times what you see now sell nothing but China Phakes. Both eBay and Customs have cracked down big time. Now days anytime you import something like that you are giving them a free look at what you are receiving and the address it is going to. I can't stress enough how careful you should be especially if you get several packages a week.

List is long enough for anyone to be sensible about what they import.

No reasonable person would EVER ship to their home address OR to an address that had items seized from on another occasion.

Customs take seizures seriously and keep track of addresses and such.
