eB's User Names with a period within the name - What are they?

I noticed a eB user with 30 sales, the first sale being the day after registration. And the user name was like 'boba0408.cvxfhr' - United States - Member for 1 month (30) fb.

So I did a member search and found 'boba0408' - Member for 5 years - Spain - (0) feedback - NARU.

Why is this? Are these linked accounts? And whats with the dot in the name? I was thinking an automatically assigned user-name.

Anybody can use a dot in their name.....maybe you were joking? BNut, if that's a real question, then that's the real answer....anybody can use one.

Someone just has boba0408.cvxfhr as a eBay username.... Not sure what there is to question

ebay does not assign user names in that format.


dots, dots are allowed if anyone wants to use them......

The NARU user from Spain is likely a conicidence.

Cant jump to conclusion just on the name dot part - could be related but also could have nothing to do with each other.
