auto increase selling limits for business sellers

A month or so a go a couple of users posted here that auto increases in limits was not going to occur anymore, or so an ebay rep had said.

At the time no one could confirm or deny this here.

I've had an email giving me a very large increase tonight in both £ amount and amount of items i can list.

So the advice is as before, keep selling well and the increases will come automatically!

I have no idea where you heard this..
There is always increases on an account.
Some increase monthly, every three months or very rarely.

But i don't think anyone could say for certain when.

There was a thread or two about it. No one could confirm or deny if it was a new change and a few users were worried.

If I wasn't on my phone i'd find the main thread on it.

I also saw this thread, however, this month has an increase on a business account from 100/3500 - 500/17,500 without calling in

Looks like the eBay rep that gave the original info was making it up as they went

Good to have it confirmed that business accounts are still getting the increases.

My first Stealth account doubled yesterday, and that is a Business Account.

I don't trust a single word they say at EBay.

The account was opened in December 2012.

I only used it recently after leaving it dormant. Only one sale in its lifetime on 03/01/2014.

Limits were auto increased from £700 to £1400 two days ago.

I guess that is because of the 90 day since first sale rule?

I only have a couple of items listed and it is a Business account from inception.

They stayed the same for me for about half year, then increased one on 04/06 and one on 22/04, twice in 2 weeks sounds strange for me.

Just had another increase on another Business account this morning.

from 10/650 to 30/2000.

This account is again just over a year old and I have only sold 2 items on it, the second was last night. The first was in January.

Payment holds removed as well.

On 2 Business accounts now, the increase has come 24 hours after the last sale, which may be a coincidence.

But clearly there is no need to call to get limits increased.

was the account maxed out before the limit increase?
