eBay Fees from Bank Account

Hi Everybody,

First I want to say thanks to everybody on this forum for offering advice. I had an account that jumped from 10/500 to 30/1600, with around 50 feedback now, and I am making great sales.

Today I checked my email and it gave me a receipt from eBay, so I logged into Paypal to check. To my horror, eBay took the fees from my bank account!

What should I do? Will they link me because they can see the name on the bank account? Or will it be brushed off until a manual review?

If I close the account before they take anything out, does it help?

They can't see the name on the bank account. So you don't need to close your account. Next time try to keep enough funds on your paypal account to cover your fees.

On these types of transfers the REAL name can show.

As a one off, it should be OK.

Been more than one user who has had this happen and survived.

Be better prepared next round.
