Limit increase on a brand new account?

I don't know if it is just blind luck or eBay's counter-measure from all those accounts they shut down recently...but one of my new accounts (with one feedback rating) got increased.

Congratulations! You've been doing a great job selling on eBay, and we've noticed. How would you like to list even more? Now you can.

Here's how much you can now list every month:

User ID: xxxxxxxxxx

Items: 10 eBay ---> 30

Amount: $1,000.00 eBay ---> $3,000.00

Some history on the account...

• Created: July 2014
• Sold first item: 8/2, then two more items on 8/12.
• First (and only) feedback on 8/14.
• Limits increased to 30/$3000 on 8/16.

I was happy to get that email...since I didn't realize after selling 3 total items, I was doing "such a great job selling"

Anyone else see an increase on a new/dormant account like this?

I notice that too. That as long as the items sell, not just listed, I get somewhat of an increase.

Nice increase after one feedback. Happening a lot in the UK, especially just after listing. Increases from 25 -> 80 are becoming a feature.

I got the Same exact email, except I had 6 feed backs and maybe 25 sales

I have had a couple do that as well. Usually I get another increase a couple weeks late bumping it up to 90/9000. Keep selling strong on them. Max those babies out!

Both USA & UK accounts have what I call the happy mail increases.

I take them with a grin.

And rotate the next round.

I also got that same 90/$90k increase on another account, but that had a bit more activity.

In any case, whatever their reasoning is...glad it happened.
