Ok Guys! New to this Stealth thing and need some general info and Opinions, HELP!!

Ok so here's the deal. I'm 25 years old and have been using ebay for buying and selling since I was 10 years old. About 2 years ago my account was suspended, couldn't sell anymore, I then started to use my friends ebay, added my paypal , adress pretty much didn't hide it at all. I began to sell a lot of stuff and he started to get annoyed at the amount of emails etc, understandable .Note, I used this account for over 2 years with zero issues. So I went ahead and made another account, using the same info that was on the suspended account ( my real info) . About 1 month later , BOOM, suspended. Along with my friends account. Really wish I didn't make the new account and ruin it for us both but what's done is done...

Fast forward to today. Haven't made an ebay sale in over a month and am really starting to feel the fiscal impact. After searching online and coming across this glorious stealth guide, I feel there is a shimmer of hope.

Now I have a few questions regarding this new account I plan on opening.

I want to use my girlfriends information , she lives in a completely different area than me , obviously all different info so in that respect I am good. My question is that once I change my ip adress and take all the proper steps, what are the chances that this account will stand the test of time? Or am I looking at a situation where it will only last a few months?

Also, I had over 100 items listed at the time of suspension, so should I do my best to unload these items elsewhere and not risk putting them on the new account just not to raise a red flag?

In your guys opinion should I just buy a new account or use my gfs info and do it that way? What do you think is the best ?

Also how soon should I go into a full swing of listing items when I have this new account? I know the guide says to start small but when would you say to just go all in and start selling like I normally would .

Any other tips or anything that could possibly help me would be very appreciated !!

Quick response from me.......do.not.use others info. You have already burnt someone elses account, why do it to your gf. Doesnt make sense. Make your own stealth accounts :-)

Do not use anyone's information! you already burned your friends info, now you want to burn your girlfriends?

Don't know what your selling but if these items are high risk I don't suggest you sell them on a fresh account.

Suggest you don't use anyone elses information AT ALL!, If you do buy an account you can ask the seller on how to proceed with the account.

There's a reason the guide and this forum suggest you go slow from the beginning....going "full swing" can kill an account....but all this depends on what your selling. Everything depends on how risky your items are.

In case your wondering, the guide is a bit outdated. The guide does suggest you use a friend, family info but as of right now, we don't recommend it at all. The guide is still a great guide for those starting out.

As MM78 said, things become outdated and this forum keeps us all up to date with current practices :-)

Stealth.......is NOT using a friends or family member info........don't be scared....do it the correct way.....

Yeah, using other ppl's info is a no-no. They may not care today, but they may later down the road.
1) Get a Fresh IP(s) and start keeping a log
2) Create a new user account for your computer (keeps cookies and stuff separated)
3) Use fresh information. This includes everything!

Even the camera and pics you use can link accounts if you don't wipe the data from the pics very easy to do that's why it is important to do your homework before jumping in So you do it right the first time. This place and the Stealth Book is the golden rule to doing it right

It's vintage sports apparel and clothing, sneakers , hats etc.

Another big question I have is I do all my ebay from my iPhone, I found out how to change the ip address, now can they match the cookies from my suspended account to this new one? Not sure how it works for a smart phone

No. You should buy a PC or windows-based laptop. Neither Macs nor phones are stealth-friendly
