Are Paypal Stealth Accounts now safe?

Hi all,

Started using a new stealth account a few months back which lasted a couple of months and got pulled over Xmas period. I have seen this has happened to others with new checks Paypal are doing but are the Paypal accounts from sellers on here now safer and will last?

That is the big question that unfortunately cannot be answered by anyone for you, we just do know yet. Incidentally if you have a PayPal account that was attached to an apparently still not suspended eBay account, and that PayPal went down during the Christmas cull of accounts, you will never be able to link another PayPal account to that eBay. That eBay will be marked now and would damn any new PayPal linked to It. You need a new eBay/PayPal stealth account combination.

Thanks. I am leaving the old ebay account behind as you say. I do have my old main paypal account that is linked to my company. This was previously linked to an ebay account that got banned but a year after I pulled away that paypal account. Basically gave that abay account to someone else to run and kept paypal back which had my correct personal details. How long might an account like that last. It is probably an open ended answer as it seems quite random how quick or slow some accounts get linked.

Are you still in contact with that old eBay account owner because they would never be link a new PayPal account to it, old accounts that have ever been linked to suspended forever PayPals will forever still carry the links to their banned 'other halves' and as such cannot be added to anything new, and that carries on to anyone who takes those accounts over. Same with that old PayPal that you kept back because it had your personal details on it, that will be forever damned by linking as well and will sooner or later destroy any new eBays you may have linked it to, hopefully you never did that!!!!

You answered the question - random. Personally, letting someone else run your account is very risky...unless you are 100% certain of how they operate

There's no such thing as safe Paypal or Ebay. Even real Ebay/PayPal Accounts are not safe....if they were, well this forum wouldn't exist.

If not a safe Paypal account then one that might last longer than a couple of months created with stealth info. I have another Paypal account linked to my main site just trying to get a back up or 5 ticking along. All my eggs are in one basket currently. I really need to have another large capacity ebay account running along side.

Rosietosie - not used any of previous accounts on ebay or paypal. I might take a risk with my old paypal account with a decent limit ebay account though. If I lasts a year or 2 it will give me some breathing space to get a longer term solution.

What you need is to have MANY accounts running alongside your current account.....Always have accounts aging, selling, getting positive feedback.

Running many accounts would be a start but the stealth Paypal account went pop on the first back up........ and just when ebay were increasing my listing limits twice a month. This is the whole point of the post, I can start several stealth accounts all which might not last very long due to new checks. Until I know which way it will work with new checks I am trying not to burn bank accounts and addresses.
